About the Event

What is Mysore?

Mysore practice is very effective for each individual continuing their practice at their own pace, for each level and for their needs. Yoga is for everyone. You can modify the way that is appropriate for you.

Usually in the Mysore practice, practitioners come during the open slot at any time and start and end the practice at any time. Starting with Surya Namaskar A+B then primary (You can continue the ashtanga sequence to the point of your stage) then to the finishing sequence so it is designed for the student to learn the sequence. You will still be seen and adjusted and modified for your needs by the teacher (me). There will be intermediate after primary and to 3rd and 4th etc. Practice never ends if you want to keep going.

What is this workshop for?

So this session is to go through the breakdown of the sequence to learn when the inhalation, exhalation is, where the drishti (gaze point) is, Asana (pose), Pranayama (breathing technique) and most importantly the Vinyasa (link between poses). It is preparation for the Mysore class that we will be holding in the New Year.

This is for anyone at any level and that is the beauty of mysore.

Who this is for?

Totally for everyone. Beginner, Intermediate or even teachers as we will go through much in detail.
